Pelican Institute for Public Policy

The mission of the Pelican Institute is to advance freedom and prosperity in Louisiana. Institute staff accomplish this mission by formulating and promoting sound policies based on the principles of free enterprise, individual liberty and a constitutionally limited government.

The Pelican Institute is a 501(c)3 non-profit, non-partisan research and education institute, and it relies on voluntary support from individuals, private foundations and businesses. It does not accept government funding and does not conduct contract research.
